Crucial 128GB 2.5" M4 SSD
operating system:Windows 7Transforms booting and loading programs to speeds I haven't experienced since my old ARM processed RISC PC days - and that had all its OS in ROM. Prices are coming down so this is now one of the best ways of dramatically speeding up your day to day PC work. Certainly the best speedup per £ you can get! Thoroughly recommended. Update firmware to v0009 asap if its not already done - gives another noticeable improvement in performance. Works best with 6GB SATA interfaces. I'm using an Asus P8Z68-V mb, i5-2500K cpu, W7hp64 and 8GB Kingston DDR3.

believe me the difference is fantastic and i paid £170 for this drive so an absolute bargain at this price
Real World Speeds
I wanted to install my operating system on a fast SSD but it had to be fast, reliable and cheap... I sought out much SSD research and concluded with Crucial M4 for its real world performance, reliability and it is cheap:<br />

Crucial M4 doesn't included a 3.5" bracket but it can be double taped as there are no moving parts and the temperature is cool.<br />

If I had to pick a Sandforce SSD for its comprehensible sequential speeds, compression and trim support for raids then I'd go with Intel 520 due to their known reputation and it's not cheap.
Superb Runner
operating system:Windows 7Wow, when i got this i thought i had ordered laptop memory. This is tiny, about the size of a credit card and just as lite. But its blisteringly fast boot up to windows 7 takes about 15 seconds. Every program installed on the drive just seems snappier and more responsive. This may be expensive but once you've made the upgrade you'll never settle for anything less.
