Works fine with ESxi 4 Update 1
I fitted this to a server running Esxi 4 Update 1 and it was detected and worked without having to do anything.
Works with VMware ESX / ESXi 3.5
operating system:OtherI bought a couple of these to use in some whitebox ESX servers. They're picked up and work fine in both ESXi and (the slightly fussier) ESX.
Also work well in Vista and W2003.
To the user commenting on the "came in a clear box"
Please read the description of the product, it tells that it is an OEM product. This means not boxed shiny retail. Power users / tech support people buy these as they often do not want or need the boxes and disks.
For home users, this can be confusing and problematic if they aren't aware this is the norm for OEM goods.
