Quality Case but some small issues
operating system:
Not ApplicableI bought this case as I've been very impressed with the two antec cases that I already own.
This one shares the same build quality and thought of design.
There are very sensible places to route the cables and there is plenty of room to fit everything in.
The screen on the front of the case is way too bright for a home cinema setup. The screen is so bright that the text appears washed out as the LCD does not have the contrast to cope with it.
The power button is surrounded by a nice white light indicating the power is on. This light is also way too bright. A dimmer switch as fitted to most hi-fi systems would solve this.
The screen seems to be powered off of the standby supply as it is illuminated even when the PC is off.
The remote is a bit cheap looking but is not the worst I've ever seen.
The fans are nice and quiet and have three speed settings. No adaptors are supplied to use a motherboard fan controller with these fans which would make sense in a media case.
There seems to be some wasted space in the front of the case where the HDDs are mounted. There is space for 4 but only 2 can be mounted. These are mounted on soft rubber bushes and there is no noise from the disks at all.
All in this case looks the business and I'd reccomend it especialy to those who don't mind the bright screen.
