Superb monitor from Philips
operating system:
Not ApplicableI am yet to be disappointed by a Philips product.
This is my second Philips PC monitor, the previous being a 15" LCD a few years back.
This 22" widescreen monitor is excellent. Images are sharp and crystal clear. Absolutely no refresh interference. Solid and extremely well built. Absolutely wonderful attention to detail and superb, flawless finshed product.
If I could award ten stars, I would do so without question.
Philips 220SW9FB/05 22"
operating system:
Windows 7Very decent monitor. Has Vga & DVI-D input with HDCP support.
Have tried it with Windows 7 & XP it's very clear on both vga & dvi.
For £112 all, in its a steal.
Bob On
operating system:
Windows 7When mine arrived the other day I felt a bit let down at first because it looked smaller than my 22" CRT, but it must have been an optical illusion of some sort because when I measured the viewable area it turned out to be 2.5" wider than my CRT and only 0.5" shorter.
Anyway after using it for a day or two at it's native resolution of 1680 X 1050 it is just so much better than my CRT.
No dead pixels, which I was a bit wary of cos most manufacturers won't replace the monitor if you have one dead pixel, they say it's acceptable. Not to me it isn't, it doesn't matter to me if it has one or a million dead pixels, it's faulty.
All in all for the money you can't grumble.
