Due to the smaller size of the CNPS7500 in comparison to the CNPS7700, there are generally very few compatibility issues in terms of clearances with motherboard components. However, please do check the Zalman website before purchase.

Worth every penny
operating system:Windows XPWhen I opened the box I was very surprised at the colossal size of the thing! (It's over 12cm across).
However it fits my Asus mobo perfectly (socket 478) and when I get my new CPU, I'm now confident that it'll fit my new socket 775 Asrock mobo too.
It does indeed come with a manual speed control that ranges from about 1110rpm to about 2280rpm.
My CPU temp at the moment is 21-22c!! Motherboard temp is only 26c.
Low speed IS silent and top speed is pretty quiet.
Blue LED is very nice (I'll need a new case to show it off)!!
Great Buy
operating system:Windows XPInstalled this today into my new build Cube, was a little worried about the size of it but when i installed it fitted just fine and the temps are excellent, cooling my Intel E6600 with little effort 35c idle/48c load with low fan speed and even at high speed it is still rather quiet, and the blue LED is a nice touch as well which also goes with my power supply blue LED's.......... all in all a great cooler and very impressed with it
Zalman All-Copper Cooler
operating system:Windows XPAfter opening the box and seeing the cooler in it's packaging, I was suprised about how 12cm looks in real life - for a cooler of this type, it's huge but not overly massive.
But at the same time, I still got it to fit on my Gigabyte motherboard on a socket 478. Installation was a breeze, can't comment how it would fit on other socket types.
The controller for the fan (FAN MATE 2) is a nice bit of kit. Lowest speed is 1110 rpm and at this level it is virtually silent. At max speed the fan hits up to 2280 rpm, and at this level a quiet "burrr" sound is heard. Not at all noticeable amongst system noise.
The cooling power of this cooler is immense! My stock cooler on my P4 (from a celeron, I upgraded CPU a while ago), managed to idle my processor at 45*. Now with the Zalman 7500 All copper, it idles at 24* and under load I get 32-35*.
Blue LED is alright, I removed the little Zalman sticker from the top of the cooler to show the LED's at their full potential.
In all, a fantastic cooler! Looks great and feels good to use too. Would definately recommend to anyone who needs a much better-than-average cooler!
Great Cooler
operating system:Windows XPMy PC resides in a cupboard which means cool air circulation is a challenge.
Before upgrading the fan average idle mobo temp was 36C and cpu 47C. Under load mobo was 41C and cpu 58C.
The now installed CNPS7500-CU achieves average idle mobo temp of 31C and cpu 39C. Under load mobo averages 37C and cpu 43C.
Well impressed with the design, performance and quietness. Make sure cabling in your PC is tidy as this fan takes up significant room.
