Comes with SATA2 & 3 cables. Less bulk and iron mongery than my old MSI Neo MB. Flies with 3750K processor and 7850 graphics card. Friendly BIOS with plenty of overclocking potential if I ever feel the need. All at a great price.
Implies that installation of Intel management drivers is mandatory. This is not the case unless you have a need for remote desktop management (which I turn off for security reasons.)
Well laid out board. Perfect base for a fast Core I5-3570K, highly configurable. I'm on f19b firmware which although beta is perfectly stable.
Its a Rev 1.0 board that was supplied to me. Gigabyte now have the Rev 1.1 board out now that fixes issues some people had with the system on fast processors. Be careful when you update firmware as it resets the disk boot priority order and you can end up booting from the wrong disk (this may cause some people to think their OS installation has broke, it hasn't!!).
Great starter board for someone just learning to build and combine computer parts. Has amazing features for overclocking and temperature checking. Comes with a dvd-rom with drivers and programs for the above points I gave.
My build consists of an i7 3770k, a corsair g700 PSU, RipjawsX ram - 2 sticks of 4 gigs and a GTX 680. No issues. Just flawless, and very cheap.
If you're used to building PC's and are looking for an endgame future proofed build, this is not for you. You want something with more of a kick.
With my Coolermaster 912 HAF case, and my 700W PSU, the cables can get very messy and cramped. I suggest a FULL size case for this, if you're using a big graphics card.
