Serious air shifting!
operating system:
Windows XP+ Massive fan
+ Low noise (almost none if fitted with some thought about accoustic dampening)
+ Huge air flow makes 80 & 92mm fans pale in comparison
+ Professional opaque black colour (no silly heat producing flashing lights)
My fan of choice, the only improvement would be
to make it ball bearing to improve lifespan.
A 7 Volt Doddle Mod
Just snip the little black wire between the two molex`s(fan negative), and join to the Red(+5v)thick wire between molex`s preferably with a soldering iron and tape the joint after. Bingo you got a big, slow moving fan that makes next to no noise,(now running on 7volts),shifts lots of air and will last for ever even without ball bearings.
The fan can be put in place with a cheap glue gun for more noise reduction as it`s a bit like
rubber mounting and takes seconds, no screws needed. Makes any machine very quiet and well ventilated with just 2 of these.
Fantastic Value, very quiet.
Saw these on ebuyer for less than £1! each and thought what the hell, if they are too noisy for my water cooling radiator I'll sell them on ebay!!! Guess what? they are great!!! On full speed I'm guessing they are around 15-20db and shift at least 30cfm of air. With my fan controller, turning them right down gives a totally silent operation , I could not hear them at all, yet they still produced a good airflow.
Great solution on the cheap
operating system:
Windows XPWell, i'll start off by agreeing with everyone else, these things are big!
You can see a picture here:

The fans arent *silent*, but on a scale of one to ten they rate about a 3 or a 4. But following the advice of other buyers i did a little rewiring and changed these to run at 7V, and the sound dropped to almost nothing (around a 1 or 2).
This is perfect for those of your who (like me) have your cases on top of your desk and/or sleep with their computers running in the same room.
Helped to bring my hard drives down from 50c/50c/42c to 37c/37c/37c.
Great buy, will buy again.
BRILLIANT!!!!
operating system:
Windows XPNot totally silent, but quiet :)
(off the back of the box)
--------------------------
Size: 120 x 120 x 25 mm
Fan speed: 1600 rpm (+/- 10%)
Airflow: 54 cfm
Noise: 32 dBA (@average rpm)
Bearing: Sleeve Bearing
Connector - 3pin with rpm monitor wire
--------------------------
Oddly enough mine came WITH screws... and a 4 pin to 3 pin passthrough (Allows another 4 pin device to be connected at the other end)
Fan-tastic, fantabulous, phantasmagorical, worth fanfaronading!!
operating system:
Not ApplicableLarge quiet fan considering price. Ideal for rear case cooling. Also made of reasonably soft plastic, so helps dampen sound (some see-through fans are brittle, creak, and crack easily)
Runs quite well at 12 volts, but also well at 5 and 7 volts. For 5 volts simply switch the yellow and red pins over in the molex by pinching them from the front with tweezers (don't then use the pass-through). Near-silent at 5 volts (can't hear over psu fan). For 7.5 volts, simply join the red & yellow pins together with an additional wire.
Like most cheap 120mm fans, this does not have an rpm measuring cable, so there's no reason not to try the above mod for best effect.
On current build temps for cpu 39 > 28, motherboard 33 > 23, and Hdd (X2) from 37/36 > 31/32.
Remember, addition of a large fan will probably more than compensate for overall noise; increase flow of air will keep other regulated fans from having to run so fast. So, add this in for a QUIETER system overall. Oh, and those with AMD processors, make sure cool n' quiet is working properly!!
Great Value
operating system:
Windows XPIve been looking for a 120mm fan for my Super Flower Rhythmic Black case for a while but Ive been put off by the cost as Antec ones cost around £10. When I saw this I had to try it out, and for 89p its good value, sounds a bit quieter than the two 80mm ebuyer case fans it replaced. The size of this fan dwarfs 80mm fans take a look -http://img90.exs.cx/img90/4465/120mm_vs_80mm.jpg. No screws supplied with this fan, although they are supplied with the 80mm ebuyer case fans.
5 stars
Very good fan. Very quite and ceeps system almost 10 degrees cooler
Extremely Impressive!!
operating system:
Windows XPReceived five of these fans today, unfortunately they don't come boxed or with screws, but the rest makes up for it.
They run on 12v, they push A LOT of air, and they're as quiet as any £10 120mm fan out there!!
In comparison, i have a 120mm fan which was bought around three years ago which at the time cost £5. It pushes a little more air than this fan, but at 12v is extremely noisy. Then there's this fan, runs at similar speeds, pushes almost as much air and is basically silent!!
I'm very impressed :D
Nice and Quite Fan
operating system:
Windows XPThis big 120mm fan is more quite then i though it would be, hardly makes a sound. there are no screw's but u can just pop down to B&Q and get some. It made my PC 7 degrees cooler. Nice Product for £0.82. Keep it coming Ebuyer!!!
