Good stuff

I bought this case because it was different compared to my current one, the PC wasnt really for me and I wasnt sure what I really wanted from it. At first I was thinking of an isotope case but that died down because it costs much more than this and everything was MATX which makes the graphics card difficult. So I took this one, its impressive, everything I got did fit, power supply was a bit iffy but u'll always have the minor issue with any case, the fan is really impressive, the colours and the speed adjustment, althuogh I am not an overclocker so its more than ideal for me. The way the fan lights shine through the antec sign on the front looks brilliant. The only thing I would really complain about are the usb ports on the front, they are very flimsy, although not much bother.

If you want something that looks good, different and special all at the same time, this is the one for you. Just make sure you give it enough processing and gaming power so the high performance match the good looks!

Great For My Special Needs
review by: Colin F rating:

operating system: Not Applicable

Cons: expensive.

Pros: accessibility.

Agree with most of the first review's points. Beware of the

size: it's roughly a 42cm cube.

However my primary need was for the ultimate in accessibility, and while not perfect, this is close. My system is not meant to be an overclocked games machine so the cooling features are not very useful. I needed to create a portable rig to use for virus cleaning of, and file recovery from, other people's disks. So the ability to securely hang stuff off the outside is a great feature. Yes the PSU angle is strange: using a modular one where low voltage cables are not fitted if they are not needed would be the best solution.

In fact the whole thing is "over engineered" in a lot of ways.

Nevertheless, and despite the price, it fits my requirements. It has a certain style as well.

So I'll give it the thumbs up

I have this case and...

I have brourght this case and am quite undecided about what i have done! I changed from a water cooled system down to this case coupled with a Noctua NH-C12P CPU cooler (which might i add dont exactly fit with this case). Normally i run an overclocked Q6600 at about 3.8GHZ, the highest its been is 4.2, at the moment in the new system im at 3.6 and the temperature is 54degrees, which is high if you dont know. Anyhow all that aside there are many faults with this case, the switch's for the fan seem unfinished, the height is restricking, the width if 5mm wider would have given it support for so many more coolers. The top fan has minimal effect cooling wise, even on full. The optional 92mm had drive fan is pointless, not to mention the notion of hanging the drives on the side of this rig! The pwer supply is placed in an odd place, again a few mm in another direction and you would actually be able to plug the power lead in! I could go on and on with its faults, but the fact remains i now own one, theres no turning back, but i believe with a few modifications this case still has hope. Granted i can not make it wider, or taller, but i can drill out the rivits and make new holes, adjust the parts i wish, add large feet so that your powersupply fan does not sit on the deck! and so on. I am keen to see what other people think of this case, and what they might do to it. All i now is the days of throughing paper clips at my case are long gone! If you need any information, contact me huw@live.ru, happy to help.
