Fast and cool
operating system:
LinuxThis processor will be over clocked. The stock CPU cooler that comes with it isn't very good though. It keeps it around 45 degrees idle. Its fast and stays cool with a better cooler.
Recommended. Very good ebuyer services.
E7500
i changed to this , from a E6300 , there isnt much to really notice the differance , so i ran a 3d mark 06 , thats where it told , at least 600 pionts more , allso FPS improved considerably in gaming , its worth the extra , plus delivery was brill as allways , so you could say im pleased , get and buy one .
Great price, great processor
operating system:
Windows 7I bought this as an upgrade to replace my aging ageing E2140.
Installation was a breeze, 5mins max and soon as I booted up my PC, Windows 7 found and installed the necessary drivers.
It bumped up my WEI score for CPU from 4.3 to 4.7.
Temperature is a constant 35c, which is better than my previous CPU's temperature.
All in all.

Overclocked
After a week or more of having this CPU I can definitely say I don't regret buying.
I've overclocked it a little but not by much to 3.13Ghz and have a WEI of 4.9 in Windows 7. So I've got the speed of an E8400 for the price of an E7500.
CPU's running cooler than at my previous post after tweaking settings in my BIOS and is running at 28c (82.4f) on air, stock fan/heatsink.
Other people may get better results but I felt the need to comment and mention it none the less.

Fast, but NO Intel-VT support
There are two specs of this processor and you can't tell which is which without knowing exactly which you're getting. The one I got was SLB9Z which doesn't have VT so won't run Hyper-V under Windows 2008 R2 server. SLGTE does support it. If you're wanting to use this on a server for virtualization check which you'll get!
Four stars cos it's a good fast CPU, one star missing cos of the missing VT features
