Looks fantastic
operating system:Windows VistaThe case itself is fantastic. Bear in mind how big it is though. I have an AV stand and it JUST fits in, with literally 1cm gap to the next shelf. If the exhaust was pointing up I'd have been in trouble!
The system has two USB ports at the front, firewire, e-sata and two 3.5mm jack ports. My guess is that one's headphones and one mic, but they're not labelled.
Mine came with a box of screws, a Veris (Antec) remote, and a couple of plastic inserts and power adapters.
Remote is good quality. For most operations I'm using it instead of a keyboard. Easily swaps between acting as a "keyboard" and "mouse".
Took me a little while to get everything working correctly. The manual is not brilliant and you have to manually hook up a couple of switches after installing your 5 1/4 inch drive. I found instructions on Google.
LCD doesn't have a dimmer which means it can get pretty bright when watching a movie.
Other than that, spacious, quiet and very elegant. Excellent piece of kit at an excellent price.
Excellent Media Case, but it is Big!!
operating system:Windows VistaBought this case after spending alot of time choosing between this and the silverstone Grandia MX01B.
I'm glad I went for this. The 2 fans are large and when put on the lowest speed are very quiet.
It is paired up with a MSI P45 Zilent motherboard, Zalman 9500 cooler, Enermax Pro82+ PSU, WD Green 500GB HD and Powercolor Radeon 4670 1GB Graphics Card.
The media cente is very quiet. In fact it is quieter than the BT vision box we have.
Be careful on your choice of cabinet, because this thing is tall and deep, but it takes full size ATX MB.
The sound insulation on the harddisk and PSU are worth it because it is so quiet with the right components.
Good build quality, I would have liked a card reader, but prefer silence to gadgets.
Great case for a Media Centre
operating system:Windows 7This case has the usual Antec build quality with no sharp edges to hurt your hands when assembling. The only thing that caused any problem was the fixing of a blu-ray recorder into the 5 inch bay - there was little help or guidance in the instructions, but I figured it out in about 10 minutes. Otherwise it was plain sailing. I didn't find the fan noise too distracting, and I had two fans cooling the memory installed in addition to the two case fans.
WOW! Insaine Case!
operating system:Windows 7This was much bigger than I anticipated but proved to be a superb item. Late delivery due to Parcel Force but nothing that cant be rectified.
This case if of superb build and feels quality and solid, cant expect anymore from Antec.
Case is nice and quiet with all fans including on low including CPU & GPU. Case will take a 15" GPU Card so plenty of room and also space for an additional 120mm fan to draw heat from the GPU.
Fanless CPU cooler would be recommended as the CPU would be positioned right next to the 140mm and 120mm fan so cooling is spot on.
Amazing Case! Cant Fault it! Highly Recommended!
