Works on Ubuntu Karmic
operating system:LinuxWorks fine with Ubuntu Karmic out the box - no additional drivers or hacks required. Card delivered differs slightly from the image in that the aerials are spaced further up the PCI blanking plate.
Doesn't come with a low profile adapter which is a shame, but otherwise what more could you ask for the money!
Flawless install and speed increase
operating system:Windows 7Installed this card in place of a Netgear card that was giving me grief with drivers and speed and signal in Windows 7 x64.
Plugged card in, switched computer on, and pointed hardware to drivers on cd, and installed it in under 2 mins.
Simply downloaded the new version of the drivers from Tenda website after that, and upgraded once again with no issues.
Signal improved from 20 - 40% with Netgear card to 100% with this card. Download speeds increased from 1000kbps to between 2700kbps and 3200kbps (site dependant) on Wireless N router.
Would recommend this card to anyone looking for a wireless signal and speed upgrade.
Great value and performance
operating system:Windows XPEasy to install and works a treat with a strong signal and at my max router speed (54 Mbps). On day 2 and it appears very stable with no loss of connection. Had no problem with Tenda software. Better than Netgear card it replaces. Another impressive and value for money purchase from Ebuyer.
Excellent product
operating system:Windows 7I bought two of these, for a Windows 7 machine and an XP machine using a G not an N router.
On the Xp machine I had to install the driver only then the card kicked in with a full strength signal.
The Windows 7 machine booted up without loading the driver and connected, with a full strength signal.
