Great CPU 2nd core unlocked no problem
operating system:Windows 7Ordered this CPU, a MSI 880GM-E41 880G Motherboard, EXTRA VALUE 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz Memory, and a Shiny Piano Black/Silver Super Slim Micro ATX Mini Tower Case.
Total Cost just over £133.
Makes an amazing Media Centre. Very quick and the 2nd core unlocked too, two setting changed in bios and voila an Athlon II X2 4450e @ 2.8GHz
Under windows 7 CPU rating is 6.5 and memory 7.1. This is very quick and cheap as chips. This is with stock clock and cooler but with the second core unlocked.
Graphics are mid to low 4's which is very good. I have to run a Nvidia 7300GT for the TV Out as I need S-Video, the onboard graphics produce slightly lower rating than this card.
I have bought Intel for years I have now changed my mind absolutely amazing.
Ebuyer great as always ordered the 22nd December arrived next day before 10am. Superb even got a free mug.
Cheap and cheerful
operating system:Windows VistaUpgraded my 8 year old daughter's PC from a socket A Duron to this so seeing a big difference. Got running on an Asus M4A78LT-M LE which is a brilliant board for the price. I wasnt lucky enough to unlock the second core no matter how much I tweaked but I have overclocked to 3.8GHz on auto volts. The single core does struggle in multi-tasking but I dont suppose my daughter will be doing much of that yet. I'll probably upgrade to a Phenom II in a year or so.
