What is STEM?
The STEM Festival is a workshop designed for Key Stage 2 students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in a fun and engaging way using mobile devices as a tool to facilitate learning.
Sponsored by eBuyer and Microsoft, these workshops are delivered by consultants from the Tablet Academy who have created a series of activities including robotics, forensic science and programming.
Below we have provided details of the activities delivered during the STEM Festival workshops. If you would like any further details please don't hesitate to contact us.

Teacher Support
The STEM Festival is hosted for a day by a school or college who will extend invitations to local schools. Staff and students from these organisations then join students from the host school to take part in the STEM activities.
In addition to this there will be The Tablet Academy. The Tablet Academy is one of the UK's leading education consultancy and teacher training organisations who focus on the use tablets in schools.
We can provide your organisation with a bespoke consultancy and training package to meet your needs. We are device agnostic and have a team of trainers who are all current and former teachers with experience of embedding the use of mobile technology in the classroom.
