What is PC memory?
PC memory is what allows your computer open up and run different programs. The RAM, as it's also known, communicates with the processor at higher speeds. Without it you wouldn't be able to run any programs as there would be no component that could communicate with your CPU to do it.
What size PC memory do I need?
You'll often find RAM available between 1GB and 16GB, which leaves you with a lot of choice. Most often, 1GB will be too little and 16GB will be more than enough, and when you factor in the price, you're going to want to buy one that's just right. Anything less than 4GB is not recommended, anything above should handle your needs just fine.
